If the print head is moving and nothing prints, try thesesolutions:
- Print a nozzle check pattern and then clean the print head, ifnecessary. If there are still clogged nozzles, clean the suctioncap and around the print head and then clean the print head againand check if the clogged nozzles were cleared. If the problemremains, contact your dealer or Epson for support.
Note: Use atransparent sheet when you are printing a nozzle check pattern withWhite ink. If you are using Color ink mode, it is difficult to seethe cleaning liquid rows in the nozzle check pattern. There is noproblem if the cleaning liquid rows are the only rows you cannotsee.
- Make sure the platen height is adjusted correctly. The printercannot print if the platen is too far from the print head. IfPlaten Gap is set to Manual, check that the spacer combination andplaten height (scale) are suitable for the type of media you areusing.
