Tempus fugit, a Latin phrase translated into English meaning “Time Flies”. Here we are, almost halfway through 2024! What a ride it’s been. We are proud of our many accomplishments thus far and the tremendous participation by you, our members. There’s much to look forward to in June including Father’s Day and great member and community events!
We have some fabulous member events scheduled this month. First is the 65th Roger Miller Golf Classic at Burl Oaks on June 10. There is still time to sign up and enjoy the camaraderie, fun, and games.
Then, don’t miss the EmpowHER Women’s Network summer event on Thursday, June 20: Women, Wellness, and Wine at the Wayzata Depot. Come ready to exhale and be in good company on a beautiful summer day.
Are you a new member or need a refresher on Chamber happenings and benefits? Join us at the New Member Orientation on Tuesday, June 25 at Atria Corporate Center in Plymouth. You’ll be ready to plug right in to one of our many networking opportunities, like Libationsby the Lake on Thursday, June 27 at Birch’s on the Lake.
Lastly, Wayzata’s premier summer festival is the20th Annual Wayzata Art Experience on June 22 & 23. Shop 150 fine art artists, sample delicious food from 15 local food trucks, and more. Volunteers are wanted! Click here to see how you can make an impact at this great event.
